The 2021 EDUCAUSE Horizon Report | Teaching and Learning Edition

The lasting effects of the pandemic has dominated the ed-tech conversation. As a response, the latest EDUCAUSE Horizon report grapples with where our post-pandemic future may be headed.

 

One important issue raised in the report is the need to rethink the student experience to meet students where they are, utilizing emerging technology tools and policies to ensure wellness and preempt emergency mental health situations. Another issue tackled is the ever-widening digital divide. The report calls for inclusive recovery through an equity-minded, open strategy to support students lacking the devices or bandwidth crucial to successful modern learning.
