History

Intel hosted a small conference in 2000, bringing together a group of roughly 30 leaders in the education ecosystem for a series of collaborative, face-to-face meetings. These discussions focused on the common areas necessary for successful implementation of digital curriculum, and formed the concept and structure of the K-12 Blueprint.

The K-12 Blueprint website has grown since its initial inception, with a dedicated team responsible for updating the site with current education-technology news and downloadable tools. The K-12 Blueprint also has an active Twitter feed with news outlets such as the New York Times and USA Today picking up some of the tweets.
