All in OneNote: Fujitsu and Microsoft at St. Andrews
St. Andrew's College is an all-male private high school located in Ontario, Canada. St. Andrew's prides itself in its use of collaborative, activity-based learning and cutting-edge technology to engage and inspire students in innovative ways.
St. Andrew’s has embraced technology as a critical tool in enhancing the learning experience. In 2008, St Andrew's College partnered with Fujitsu to provide all of its faculty and student body with tablets for learning. Over time, students and faculty found that the devices were unable to keep up with learning applications and were too bulky to easily carry around.
When it was time for St Andrew's to refresh their devices in 2011, St Andrew's College turned to Fujitsu to help find a lighter, better performing device. The Fujitsu Lifebook T902 convertible tablet ultimately proved to be the perfect device for the school to accomplish its learning goals. These lightweight, powerful devices allow teachers and students to use demanding applications such as Adobe Creative Suite* for video editing. Teachers have also found Microsoft OneNote* to be essential in the classroom for planning lessons, managing classroom assignments and sharing information. The school is also impressed by the enhanced robustness of the device and its lengthy battery life.
"Fujitsu and Microsoft OneNote are the best kept secret in education. Together, they are revolutionizing how we teach"
- Steve Rush, IT Director, St. Andrews College
