The Write Start Challenge
826 Digital—part of 826 National, a nonprofit organization that supports eight writing and tutoring centers across the US—launches its inaugural Write Start Challenge this month.

The Write Start Challenge features one 826 Digital “Spark" each school day in January: 20 Sparks, 20 minutes of writing a day. The challenge is recommended for grades 4-12, though all grade levels and writers are welcome to participate. Participants can explore weekly writing themes centered on reflection, magic-making, connection, and creativity.

To get started, download the Write Start Challenge Guide or follow #WriteStartChallenge on Twitter.

By providing engaging, adaptable, standards-based resources—designed to captivate young writers and empower their educators—826 Digital aims to reach students everywhere, whether they be aspiring authors or reluctant writers.
