Remote Learning in the Time of COVID-19

Remote learning in the age of COVID-19

With school districts across the country suspending on-campus classes and onsite activities due the COVID-19 pandemic, there is growing concern about how day-to-day learning will continue in the coming weeks and months.

Even though many schools have successfully employed flipped models of instruction and various elearning approaches (using a wide variety of learning management systems), remote learning presents an additional set of challenges. These include students with limited (or no) internet connectivity at home, aging devices with older operating systems and out-of-date software, and systemic inexperience learning in a 100% remote environment.

While there is no magic bullet or simple solution, the editors of the K-12 Blueprint have gathered together a broad selection of resources you can use today with your students.
