New Jersey School District Implement PDAs to Middle Schools for Science and Physical Education Classes
The PDAs have helped keep learning fresh for the students and enhanced the learning experience for teachers.
According to LocalSource.com, West Orange Public Schools in New Jersey is using PDAs to enhance the learning environment for its students and teachers.

The students are using Dell Axim PDAs for their chemistry classes. The seventh and eighth graders in the district have 25 PDAs for each of their science labs.

The PDAs have Microsoft Word and Excel, wireless Internet access, and a number of software applications geared towards science curriculum.

Last year, the district piloted the program to the eighth graders and expanded the program to the seventh graders this year. Next year the school district plans to implement the PDAs for the sixth graders.

At Roosevelt Middle Schools, the students are using the PDAs to conduct chemistry experiments and collect data.

However, at Liberty Middle School, the physical education teachers are using the PDAs. The teachers are using the devices to take attendance, organize data and record grades.
