Chicago Abandons Wi-Fi Project
A year ago, Chicago announced plans to bridge the digital divide with a municipal wi-fi available for free, to all. Mike Rhee of Chicago Public Radio reports on why the lack of viable financial model has caused the city to “ditch” that vision of an invisible bridge in the sky.
