As Maine high schools decide whether to use their technology funds to expand 1:1 to the upper grades, some are joining schools around the country in adopting netbooks (smaller mobile devices with fewer features) as a lower-cost alternative to full-fledged laptops or tablets.   Netbooks are sufficient for most K-12 needs and we should be saving money by buying them for our 1:1 programs. 63.64 % (7)
