| I witness so many shortcuts to become a teacher as well non teachers (option 4) in my school and around the state to fill the shortages. Education will never improve until we set a high standard to become a teacher as is in becoming a Lawyer or Doctor . We must also make teaching attractive enough to have the top graduates enter teacher education. Until we make attracting the best for teaching a priority we will not be taking education in the US seriously. The best teachers make the best schools.
