Parental involvement in student learning increased as a result of a middle and high school laptop program in Stillwater, MN.

Auburn, AL, saw a 29 percent decline in discipline problems during the first two years of its 1:1 program.

A jump from 29 percent to 49 percent proficiency on Maine 8th grade writing assessments is attributed to ongoing laptop use.

About 1/3 of U.S. districts say they have 1:1 in at least one full grade at one school.

Students at 1:1 schools in Michigan outperformed control students on reading, English, math and writing tests.

Texas TIP students with greater access to laptops in and out of school had higher reading and math test scores.

Test scores are up for Henrico County one-to-one students in all subjects except for math and writing.
